1. Production process overview

The production process of cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate is also an important guarantee for its excellent performance.

2. Raw material preparation

The main raw material of cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate is hot-rolled steel coils. After pickling, rust removal and other treatments, they enter the cold rolling unit for processing. During the processing, a small amount of alloying elements also need to be added to improve the strength and corrosion resistance of the plate.

3. Cold rolling mill processing

The cold rolling mill is the most important equipment in the production process of cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate. It consists of multiple rollers and rollers, which continuously press and stretch hot-rolled steel coils to deform them into cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate of the required thickness and width. 

At the same time, surface smoothing is also carried out during this process to ensure that the surface of the board is flat and smooth.

4. Annealing treatment

In order to further improve the plasticity and toughness of cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate, annealing is also required. This step is to heat the processed plate at high temperature and then cool it appropriately to change its internal structure, thus improving the plasticity of the plate.

5. Cutting and Smoothing

The annealed cold rolled steel coil/sheet/plate also need to be cut and leveled. This step not only brings the sheet to the desired size, but also further improves the surface quality.
